DecisionQuest Expands Arbitration & Mediation Consulting Service
LOS ANGELES (January 24, 2012) — DecisionQuest, the nation’s leading trial and dispute consulting firm, today announced the expansion of its alternative dispute resolution program to further increase its services offered to lawyer and company clients in ADR proceedings. The program, ADR Strategic Consulting Services, will provide attorneys and their clients a decisive edge in successfully presenting and resolving disputes faster, more cost effectively, and with greater success.
The ADR Strategic Consulting service is designed to meet the growing desire of many businesses to solve disputes outside of the courtroom, where they can avoid the public and media scrutiny, expenses, and delays that accompany a trial.
“We’ve witnessed a substantial increase in requests for our strategic counsel and research for the arbitration and mediation process,” said Dr. Philip K. Anthony, CEO of DecisionQuest. “We’re incredibly excited to formalize our offerings with ADR Strategic Consulting.”
Les Weinstein, an experienced trial and ADR lawyer and neutral, will serve as Director of DecisionQuest’s Alternative Dispute Resolution practice. He will lead a team of DecisionQuest professionals who conduct strategic research and theme development, suggest mediation and arbitration strategies, offer arbitrator selection recommendations, develop visual communications, and aid with presentation technology.
Mr. Weinstein is a former U.S. Department of Justice trial and appellate attorney who, for many years, also enjoyed a big firm domestic and international private trial practice, and is experienced in intellectual property, competition, technology, and antitrust law. He serves as a neutral on five American Arbitration Association (AAA/ICDR) panels, several CPR ADR panels, and as an appointed mediator for the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U. S. District Court for the Central District of California.
“Businesses in today’s marketplace face a broader range of risks and challenges,” said Weinstein. “ADR Strategic Consulting Services will help businesses and their counsel manage risks more effectively and the growing demand for this service is a testament to its success.”
