Mr. Les Weinstein is the Director of DecisionQuest’s Alternative Dispute Resolution practice. In addition, he serves as an independent arbitrator and mediator.

After a career as a successful U.S. Department of Justice and large law firm antitrust and intellectual property lawyer with an international practice, Mr. Weinstein became ADR trained and is an experienced neutral arbitrator & mediator. As a lawyer, he was an early adopter of trial consulting services.

Mr. Weinstein serves the American Arbitration Association (AAA) as a neutral on five of its panels: Commercial; Large Complex Case; Patent; International; and Mediation. He has also been peer selected as a Distinguished Neutral serving on several ADR panels of the International Center for the Prevention and Resolution of Disputes (CPR). He is an Arbitration Fellow of the London-based Center for International Arbitration (CIArb) and has been selected as a panel arbitrator and mediator for the United Nation’s Brussels-based World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). In addition, Mr. Weinstein is a panel mediator for both the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC) and the United States District Court for the Central District of California (USDC CDCA).

He has both taught law and lectured widely in the United States and abroad on litigation, technology, intellectual property, antitrust, mediation and arbitration law. In 2011,
Mr. Weinstein was a visiting professor of ADR and Intellectual Property law at Wisdom University in Tirana, Albania, and he is scheduled to teach ADR law in 2012 in Hungary at the University of Debrecen.

Mr. Weinstein has been again peer-selected for 2012 by both Super Lawyers and America’s Best Lawyers as among the top 5% of the profession.
