Susan Fillichio is a trial consultant who specializes in trial strategy development, behavioral
research and jury analysis. Ms. Fillichio assists counsel in developing strategy designed to
effectively communicate her clients’ messages to jurors, judges and arbitrators. Over the course
of her consulting career, she has assisted trial teams in numerous jury trials, bench trials and
arbitrations in venues across the country. Her work often serves to assist counsel during
mediation and settlement negotiations. Ms. Fillichio provided consulting services in numerous
product liability, toxic tort and asbestos cases, intellectual property matters, construction and
employment disputes, defamation cases, complex contract disputes and class action lawsuits. Ms.
Fillichio specializes in assisting witnesses in communicating effectively with the trier of fact.
She has assisted trial teams in working with numerous corporate representatives, CEOs and high
profile individuals preparing for both deposition and testimony at trial.

Ms. Fillichio brings 30 years of experience in the legal profession to her understanding of
decision-making in lawsuits, and works with all members of the trial team to develop case
themes and strategies. Known for client service, she is committed to finding the winning
strategy and making trial preparation a smooth and insightful process. Ms. Fillichio leads the
DecisionQuest research consulting team at DecisionQuest in Los Angeles and is a frequent
speaker. She has been nominated for The Los Angeles Business Journal’s Women Making a
Difference awards, as a Rising Star.

Prior to joining DecisionQuest, Ms. Fillichio was a partner with Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP,
Los Angeles, where she held a managing position in the Labor & Employment Practice Group.
She has also practiced with national law firms in Chicago and New York. Ms. Fillichio also
completed internships with the Senate Labor Subcommittee (under Chairman Don Nickles, OK),
for Representative Arlan Stangland (MN), and with the American Bar Association. She is
proficient in French.
