Terence has taken a multi-disciplined approach to developing his career as an innovative leader, focusing on applying technology and sound business practices to solve problems and develop scalable, profitable business models. He began his career in the Corporate Trust Services team at JPMorgan Chase Bank, working his way up to a senior role before moving to a start-up firm providing services to investment banks and some of the world’s leading asset managers. While there, Terence held a number of roles including in-house counsel and client-facing roles in operations and business development. Terence managed the largest deal closed by the newly formed business and was an integral part of the team charged with launching new products and maintaining and growing the business through the global financial crisis. He subsequently moved to New York to join The Blackstone Group where he held the position of Senior Vice President responsible for compliance on the team’s hedge fund investment platform. Terence later returned to Virtus Partners to head their product management team where he continued his track record of successfully leading cross-functional activities related to innovation of new products, operational efficiency and corporate strategy. As the Vice President of Operations at DecisionQuest, Terence is focused on driving success and growth through technological advancement and operational efficiencies. Terence holds a BBA (Accounting) from the University of St. Thomas, Houston TX, and is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center. He is an active member of the State Bar of Texas.
