DecisionQuest Claims Four First Place Awards in “Best of The National Law Journal” 2017 Reader Rankings
Clients and Peers Honor Firm with Highest Accolades in Five Separate Categories
LOS ANGELES (September 16, 2015) – The New York Law Journal (NYLJ) announced today that DecisionQuest, Inc. was ranked “Best Jury Consultant” for the fourth time in the publication’s annual survey of legal consulting professionals.
The NYLJ Reader Rankings, now in its sixth year, recognizes top legal industry firms in more than 100 categories. All winners are selected by popular vote.
DecisionQuest was awarded first place in five categories for which it was nominated. Along with Best Jury Consultant, other top honors bestowed on the firm were:
Best Online Jury Research Provider
Best Trial Consultant
Best Hot Seat Trial Technicians
Best Medical Illustration & Exhibits Provider
It is the first time in the history of the NYLJ Reader Rankings survey that participants have chosen the same firm for first-place recognition in five separate categories.
This year, more than 8,400 NYLJ readers and members of the New York legal community cast votes through online ballots. Voters select the best of categories including Technology, Research, Accounting, Insurance, Financial Services, Litigation Support, Real Estate, Education, Recruiting & Staffing as well as Lifestyle and Client Entertainment.
“It has been a banner couple of years for DecisionQuest,” said Dr. Philip K. Anthony, CEO of DecisionQuest. “Less than one year ago, we announced a major expansion in five U.S. cities, adding twenty jury consulting professionals to our professional workforce in the firm’s Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., and Miami offices. It is naturally a real challenge to undergo such a major transition in a relatively short time, and we are all the more pleased and honored to have done so successfully, and to now be recognized for our achievements by clients and industry peers.”
“We have always aimed to be the best trial consultants, helping clients face key litigation challenges and navigate high-stakes legal proceedings,” added Dr. Anthony. “This recognition will only motivate our team further, ensuring the highest possible performance. We extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took the time to vote on this year’s NYLJ ballot.”
In an effort to make the voting as inclusive as possible, over 500 firms were listed in the official NYLJ Reader Rankings ballot, while voters were also able to write in nominations, adding another 300 organizations to the pool of contestants.
“Our readers, and the professionals who participate in this award process, represent New York’s top lawyers and legal service managers,” said Farrell P. McManus, associate publisher/editor of the New York Law Journal. “The fact that, for the first time ever, a single firm placed first in five categories speaks volumes about DecisionQuest and the level of service it provides its clients.”
DecisionQuest CEO Dr. Anthony was also named to National Law Journal’s “Top 50 Litigation Trailblazers & Pioneers” in 2014, and the firm was recognized as the “Best Intellectual Property Firm” and the “Best End-to-End Litigation Consulting Firm” in the inaugural National Law Journal Survey.
