Dr. Arthur Patterson has been a jury consultant and a social psychologist for over 30 years. He has provided research and strategic counsel to over 500 clients worldwide including law firms, governmental entities and corporations. In the course of his long career he has written some of the seminal articles on jury and trial psychology, which have appeared in law reviews, legal publications, and psychology journals. He has spoken to bench and bar associations, including the First Circuit, the Federal Circuit, and numerous state and local bar associations.
He has been qualified as an expert on jury bias in federal and state courts across the country, and has consulted on civil and criminal matters, as well as on international arbitrations. Dr. Patterson uses his extensive experience and creative skills to help clients deal with real world problems. He applies his psychological knowledge to the problems of trial teams and other clients to help them persuade juries and other key decision makers.
Prior to joining DecisionQuest, Dr. Patterson was a tenured professor of Administration of Justice at the Pennsylvania State University.
