Division President, Operations and a founder of DecisionQuest, Mr. Cobo has over 30 years of experience in trial consulting and has been involved in over 800 cases worldwide. In addition to his administrative responsibilities, he advises clients trying complex financial disputes, securities matters and cases involving emerging technologies. In the last ten years, he has also counseled clients in over 60 arbitrations. This experience has allowed Mr. Cobo to build strong relationships with a broad network of senior arbitrators and retired judges.

Mr. Cobo’s work has given him particular expertise in understanding juror’s perspectives, which he applies to case strategy development. He is adept at distilling complex procedures and abstract concepts into ideas his clients can compellingly communication – and juries can immediately grasp. He translates strategy into compelling themes and case stories presented to juries via argument, testimony and a wide range of graphics.

  • Recognized by Los Angeles Police Department for contribution to Webster Commission (1992)

  • Mr. Cobo has been a member of the Board of Directors at ICLC for over 20 years and served as Board President from 2012 – 2015
  • Uncommon Good, Los Angeles, CA: Mr. Cobo is a founding member of this nonprofit organization that works to ensure that the under-privileged have access to quality education and health care
